The UK’s Telegraph came out with a list of the twenty most influential liberals and conservatives in the United States today. Some are obvious (Barack Obama is the most influential liberal), others a bit more suprising. Check out the lists below.

Is it a surprise that in their top ten, the conservatives have four people in the entertainment… er… news business (five if you count Palin now that she resigned her post as governor to commentate for Fox News) compared to one for the liberals (okay, two if you want to throw Al Gore in there nowadays)? The fact that Rush, Palin, and Beck have been ranked so influential makes me cringe.
